Anthony Edwards wants to play for Atlanta

There is speculation around the league that Anthony Edwards may look to leave the Timberwolves if they fail to make a deep playoff run in the next two seasons.

In a conversation with Hawks All-Star Foward Jalen Johnson, Edwards could be heard saying "I can't wait to come home" and "You have so many wings", referring to Atlanta and their roster depth.

Ant-Man is from Atlanta, and in Trae Young's absennce, the Hawks are in need of a lead guard. Currently, most of this is speculation but Edwards is definitely the type of player who would want to represent his home city.
