The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to add depth via the buyout market this year, and are eyeing former Brooklyn Nets' players Cam Thomas and Haywood Highsmith.
Thomas, a prolific scoring guard who never really fit with Brooklyn's system, has averaged 16 points per game this year. Highsmith, on the other hand, has earned himself a reputation of being a defense-first hustle player.
Both players make sense for the Lakers, who have hopes of making a deep run in the Western conference playoffs this year.
